Shield Azure, a wolf rampant Argent, armed and tongued Gules, holding an inescutcheon Or, charged with a milrind Gules, in his forepaws.
Meaning:
The wolf is a canting element. The blue colour is representing Oder Creek, here a.k.a. Steinlake Creek. The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Lords of Plesse, who had the patronage of the local parish church until 1312. The wolf is also symbolising strength, endurance and durability. The milrind is also symbolising steadfastness and solidarity.
The arms were adopted on 25 January 1956, flag and banner on 3 March 1956
