Shield parted enhanced per fess dancetty of Gules and Argent. The partition Argent is charged with three eradicated firs Vert.
Meaning:
The basic pattern, i.e. the fess dancetty with three points, is also known as the Franconian rake. The municipalty's name means "Franconian Hardt", with Hardt usually being a part of the Swabian Jura. Acc. to source "Hardt" also is a synonym for "wood". The arms are thus canting.
