Shield barry of five of Gules and Argent a fox salient barry of five of Or and Gules.
Meaning:
The blazon says Gules two bars Argent instead. This pattern displays the arms of the Lords of Fuchsstadt, who had been vassals of the Fulda Imperial Abbey, to which the village belonged since 907. The fox (German: Fuchs) is canting.
