Flöha Coat of Arms

Shield Azure with base Vert, two maidservants walking hand in hand, dressed Argent, each of them holding a kettle Maron pouring water Argent merging on base.
Meaning:
The village was established in the 12th century. It became a centre of rafting, as much timber was needed especially for mining. The production of charcoal was practised between the 16th and 19th century. During the 19th century textiles industry became the main business line. The arms are an allegory for the confluence of the local rivers of Flöha and Zschopau. The background of the arms had been black before and the kettles light blue.
