Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel Coat of Arms

Shield quartered, 1st quarter Vert an owl statant guardant Argent, 2nd and 3rd quarter Argent three fleur-de-lis Vert ordered 2:1, 4th quarter Argent a hazelnut tree Vert with six leaves and two nuts issuant from a base Vert charged with a fess wavy Azure fimbriated Argent.
Meaning:
The 1st quarter is derived from the former municipal arms of Uhlstädt and displays the canting owl, the 4th quarter displays the former municipal arms of Kirchhasel with a canting hazelnut tree. The 2nd and 3rd quarter display green fleur-de-lis, five of them had also been found in the base of the former municipal arms of Uhlstädt, probably referring to unknown local rulers.

Kirchhasel Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a hazelnut tree Vert with six leaves and two nuts issuant from a base Vert charged with a fess wavy Azure fimbriated Argent.
Meaning:
The hazel tree is a canting element. The leaves are representing the former municipalities, which belonged to Kirchhasel. The base is representing the Hasel river, name giver of the municipality.
