Shield Sable, abased parted by a fess wavy Argent, above an monopteros Argent with roof Or.
Meaning:
Before the municipality adopted the name Alexandersbad in 1937, it was named Sichersreuth. It gained the title of a spa (German: Bad) in 1979. In 1734 the mineral spa of Sichersreuther Sauerbrunnen was discovered and was girt in 1741. Margrave Alexander of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, name giver of the municipality, developed the spa by bath houses, hotels and a pump room, shaped like an monopteros, now being in the local arms. The fess wavy is representing Tiefenbach village. The tinctures black and white are those of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth.
