About the flag

The "سازمان اوقاف و امور خیریه" (English: Endowment and Charity Organization) is an Iranian quasi-governmental organization that manages all endowments without a trustee in the country. Imprisonments, vows, alms, and any other property other than endowments for charity and charitable purposes, as well as the administration of charitable institutions and associations. It was established in 1989 and it is an organization dependent on the Ministry of Culture.
