The city emblem was adopted on Sep 15th 2005 by the Notice No 222 but no flag
law.
The green flag charged with the white city emblem in the center. The flag
proportion 2 : 3.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana くり KURI simply. The green stands for the
garden city with rich nature and the figure in the center for Mt. Kurikoma as
city symbol and local product rice.
