Don't confuse with city of Echizen.
Tomislav Šipek, 22 April 2014
The town emblem was adopted on Feb 1st 2005 by Ordinance No 2 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has town emblem of two colors green and blue in the
center. The town emblem is a stylized E of Echizen. The green color stands for
rich nature, mountains and lands and blue for sea bringing abundance of sea
foods. As a whole it represents the town making progress for the future.
