Fransbergen
Fransbergen Trading & Shipping is a Dutch inland shipping company established
at Maasbracht on the River Maas, not very far from the Belgian and German
borders. Website (follow the flag
– in any case the Dutch version is somewhat larger than the others): showing
the green-on-white logo, a stylized ‘F’ (looking very much like a ‘V’ if
you ask me) above some modest little waves.
We learn that Fransbergen is active in freighting and shipping since
the early 1900’s and currently operates ten push navigation vessels and
barges (owned), chartering an additional number of these. Shipped
are mainly bulk goods and containers combined with road transportation
if necessary (implying advanced transhipment techniques).
Other activities are selling sand and gravel as well as vessel calibration;
in addition Fransbergen helps operate a number of local ferries (May-September).
A subsidiary, Fransbergen Handelsmaatschappij (i.e. trading company) is
a coating products dealer.
The house flag is horizontally divided white-green-white, fimbriated.
On this Binnenvaart
page we see a drawing as well as a relevant photo (flag flying on vessel
‘Colin F’) - which will remain unswiped, to coin a phrase. 8-)

This link
to the (restyled) Binnenvaart-site will show the house flag both as a drawing
and on a photo (push navigation vessel ‘Dennis F’).
A detail of the firm's logo is seen on a clickable photo found here.
Said logo is not placed in the flag’s centre, as said last time, but
is clearly shifted towards the hoist.
In recent years Fransbergen has diversified by taking over tourist
shipping company Stiphout at Maastricht and a ferry service on the River
Maas.

Fransbergen pennant

This Dutch inland shipping company also flies a pennant. Not surprisingly
it resembles the house flag, only the logo is placed nearer the hoist.
