Mońki county

Mońki County (Polish: powiat moniecki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Podlaskie Voivodeship, north-eastern Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Mońki, which lies 40 kilometres (25 mi) north-west of the regional capital Białystok.

Mońki county flag - is a rectangular cloth a ratio 5 : 8, consisting of two vertical strips of equal width. In the red hoist a silver eagle with a golden beak and talons, and climbed silver moose with gold horns and hooves. The fly is divided into seven equal width horizontal stripes alternating red and yellow.

Flag and CoA adopted on November 11, 2011 by law "Uchwała nr X/63/11 Rady Powiatu w Mońkach z dnia 11 listopada 2011r. w sprawie ustanowienia symboli Powiatu Monieckiego: herbu, flagi, baneru, sztandaru, oraz pieczęci Powiatu Monieckiego"
