State flag

The flag, as adopted around 2012 or late 2011, is a green field as a representation of the environment with the state emblem in the center.

The emblem is a green outline of a white oval depicting a black rhinoceros in its center. The black rhinoceros used to roam in these areas, but does not exist here anymore.

Variant flag

The governor uses a variant which is the same but has thick text in black reading CENTRAL EQUATORIA underneath.

Previous flag

It appears this flag was very briefly used in 2011. It had the same format as all of the other state flags of the time: a white field with the state emblem in the center having underneath the state name (CENTRAL EQUATORIA). The state emblem was a green disc with a rhinoceros in the center.
