Wau State

Emblem

It seems to me that Wau state kept the symbols of Western Bahr el-Ghazal State:

The state emblem was the same as the Western Bahr el Ghazal state symbol, partially due to the fact it took its place including its state capital. The state emblem was a blue circle outlined in black, having over it a white triangle with a yellow circle casting the rays of the sun depicting an image of a gazelle over grass, representing the Bahr el Ghazal name which means sea of gazelles. The only addition to this state emblem was its outer ring of blue outlined in black, reading at the top Republic of South Sudan and below Wau State – Wau (as its state capital).
