It appears the Pibor flag has modernized with a new version of the logo on its flag. This version was adopted after an official announcement from the Chief Administrator dated 14 June 2024.

The emblem is circular, having a blue outer ring. Curved around the top, GREATER PIBOR ADMINISTRATIVE AREA is read in white. At the bottom of the outer ring, 7 gold stars are seen (possibly for chiefdoms). Under all of this, a blue ribbon reads the initials GPAA. In the inner circle within the outer ring, a golden field depicts a deer for its fauna. The old version depicted the deer standing over grass with the sky in the background.
