State flag

Upper Nile State was re-established on 22 February 2020. Its flag adopted the same year is a blue field representing the Nile with the state emblem over it, centered.

The state emblem is the same as the one used until 2016, though this one depicts a ribbon underneath the main symbols. The state emblem depicts, over a blue circle, a shield with two crossed spears behind it: one (going to upper-left) of multiple points and the other of one. Underneath is a ribbon which reads UPPER NILE STATE.
