The El Salvador Civil Defense is called Protección Civil (Civil Protection).
In fact, it is formally called Dirección General de Protección Civil (General
Directorate of Civil Protection).
The flag is an orange horizontal flag, with the
logo in the middle, as seen in this

Dirección General de Protección Civil, Prevención y Mitigación de
Desastres (National System of Civil Defence, Prevention and Disaster Mitigation)
was created by the Law on Civil Defence, Prevention and Disaster Mitigation,
promulgated by Decree No. 777, issued on 18 August 2005 and published on 31
August 2005 in the official gazette, No. 160/368. The Law established the
Sistema Nacional de Protección Civil, Prevención y Mitigación de Desastres
(National System of Civil Defence, Prevention and Disaster Mitigation).
The organization and operation of the Dirección General de Protección Civil,
Prevención y Mitigación de Desastres is prescribed by Decree No. 56, issued on
24 May 2006 and published on 26 May 2006 in the official gazette, No. 96/371.
