Former ministries

The Ministry of Industry and Technology was formed in 2018 as the merger of the former Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and Ministry of Development.

The Eastern Anatolia Project (website) was established by Decree-Law No. 642, published on 8 June 2011 in the Turkish official gazette, No. 27,958, and subsequently amended by Decree-Law No. 649, published on 17 August 2011 in the Turkish official gazette, No. 28,028.
DAP, headquartered at Erzurum, covers the Ağrı, Ardahan, Bingöl, Bitlis, Elaziğ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Hakkari, Iğdır, Kars, Malatya, Muş, Sivas, Tunceli and Van provinces.
DAP aims to accelerate the development of the Eastern Anatolia Region through the fulfillment of research, planning, programming, projecting, monitoring, evaluation and coordination services required by the investments in the general purpose.

The flag of DAP (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is white with the organization's emblem. "Kalkınma Bakanlığı" reads "Ministry of Development", while "T.C." stands for "Türkiye Cumhuriyeti", "Republic of Turkey". "DAP Bölge Kalkınma İdaresi Başkanlığı" reads "Presidency of the DAP Regional Development Administration".
The flag is/was also used with a blue background (photo).

Southeastern Anatolia Project

The Southeastern Anatolia Project (website) was established by Decree-Law No. 388, published on 6 November 1989 in the Turkish official gazette, No. 20,334. GAP, headquartered at Şanlıurfa, covers the Provinces of Adıyaman, Batman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Kilis, Mardin, Siirt, Şanlıurfa and Şırnak.

GAP aims at improving the income level and life quality of people living in the region, reducing regional disparities and contributing to country’s economic and social development by mobilizing and utilizing the resources of the region.
The GAP program for the development of water resources is composed of two parts as the projects of the Euphrates-Tigris basin. The program envisages the construction of 22 dams and 19 hydraulic power plants and introduction of irrigation over an area of 1.8 million hectares.
