Recent Facebook photos suggest that the flag is a simple seal on a red base.
I don't think it has the tree and building that were in the lower corners of the
flag in the version reported in state flag collection.

A red flag, of which only the central portion is illustrated in the source. This part contains the blue over white town seal displaying a blue shield with a large green tree, scales of justice above, buildings to the sides, a blue banner stating CONTENTMENT below and around it the town name and date. Below the seal are portions of a tree and buildings. Dedham is in Norfolk County.

The version in the state flag collection appears to show a tree and some houses on the bottom of the flag. It is not clear if these were part of the flag.
