Based on a web page http://murray-countymn.com/dovray/ (no longer available), Dovray uses the Norwegian flag. It is uncertain if it is official. Dovray is located in Southwest Minnesota on the eastern side of Murray County. It is five minutes from Currie, Minnesota, fifteen minutes to Lake Shetek State Park, and it is twenty minutes north east of Slayton, Minnesota, the county seat. The first settlers in the area came from Dovre, Gudbrandsdalen
in Norway, and, when the township and the town were organized, it was named Dovray. Today, the Norwegian traditions continue in the town's celebration of Uffa Day, which is held every even numbered year.
