Divided by a curved white band extending from near lower hoist to near upper fly, red over dark blue, each colored field with three white stars in a vertical line, and in the center a yellow map of the county with name and date or establishment.
The Marion County flag was designed in 1986 from a contest held by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce.
