The flag

The city of Mandan has had a flag in the past, and intend to reproduce it for use again.

The flag is brown (or maroon?) and has the name in large letters in white, edged in yellow, across the center, where the middle letters (ND) are larger, to indicate also the state. In a ring around the ND is the motto WHERE THE WEST BEGINS.
