The "Confederación Sindical de trabajadores y trabajadoras de las Américas, CSA-TUCA" (English: Trade Union Confederation of the Américas, CSA-TUCA), was founded on March 27, 2008, in Panama City, Panama, as a result of the unification of the "Confederación Interamericana de Trabajadores, CIT" (English: Inter-American Confederation of Workers) (1948–1951) and the "Central Latinoamericana de Trabajadores" (English: Latin American Workers' Confederation). The organization affiliates 49 national organizations from 21 countries and represents 55 million workers. It is the the American continent/regional organization of the ITUC.
Its headquarters are located in São Paulo, Brazil. The flag is a purple background with the logo (in white) in the middle.
