The Municipality of Catriló is located in the Departments of Catriló and Quemu Quemu, La Pampa.
"On September 5, 2016, the “LOCAL FLAG” was officially recognized and
designated. Its symbols and colors represent the founding of our town,
production, landscape, crops as the fruit of the labor of a thriving community,
and the colors of our homeland. This flag will allow the people of Catriló to
see themselves as part of a community with its own history, identity, sense of
belonging, and plurality.
The creation of a representative symbol stemmed
from the "A Flag for Catriló" contest. Its objective was to create an emblem
that would identify and represent the municipality at all community events and
activities. Among the ten entries, the winning design was created by the artist
using the pseudonym "PUEL ANUN," belonging to Ms. Erica Elia."
