Iberian, with the base formed by a semi-circle, used in Portugal at the time of
Brazil's discovery and colonization, which is, according to Brazilian

towns. In Brazilian heraldry, it evokes the origin of the race that decisively
contributed Portuguese as the primary ethnical component.

emblem of municipalities and their administrative autonomy.

scroll, the municipality's name and date of political emancipation.

stylized staff and cross, representing the people's Christian faith and a
tribute to bishops, fathers and clerics born there.

cogwheel, representing industry, commerce, poultry breeding, pig breeding and
products produced or exported in the municipality.
6 - Stylized plow and
sun, representing agriculture and field labor, which are the main factors of
social and economical development, also representing a main source of income
 for the municipality.
