Shield Vert, under a porticus Argent a horsehead Or, in base two barrulets wavy Argent contoured Sable.
Meaning:
The porticus is typical for local farmhouses. It is also symbolising the municipality as gateway to the Altmark. The horsehead is a dignification of the workhorses as indispensable supporters of the local farmers in the past. The barrulets wavy are symbolising the Oker River and the Mittelland Canal.
