I live in Hennigsdorf, but I have never seen the flag flying. The city uses a logoflag instead of blue-white-green.

Shield Argent; an impending anvil Azure, flanked by two skythe blades Azure, connected by a loop Or; chief wavy Vert, issuant from sinister a heron ('s head) proper (Latin: Ardea cinerea), i.e. grey, with a fish Or in his beak.
Meaning:
The charges in chief are symbolising environment and fishery, anvil and blades are symbolising the local steel industries.

Flag and banner were approved in 1993. The arms were designed in 1932 and confirmed on 12January 1994.
