Presentation of Kassandra

Kassandra is a peninsula and a municipality in Chalkidiki, Macedonia, Greece. The seat of the municipality is in Kassandreia. The municipality Kassandra was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the Kassandra and Pallini.

Flag of Kassandra

The flag of Kassandra dark blue, edged maroon, with a montage of a white cross on a cresenct, and anchor and a flag with two white stars on maroon on a pole. In the lower hoist is a yellow rooster. It is the historical flag of the Kassandra rebels from 1821.
