The arms are Sable a pile reversed Argent, in chief an inescutcheon Gules bearing a cross Maltese Gules. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "ESTREITO - OLEIROS".
Meaning:
"Estreito" means "narrow" (cp. "strait"), and the toponym refers to a local canyon; the pile is canting for this; the Maltese escutchon refers to local importance of this Order.

Shield Or, a fess wavy Azure, charged with a bar wavy Argent, charged with two trouts Gules, in chief a bunch of seven arrows Gules tied Vert, in base a cuckoo statant Proper. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILAR BARROCO".
