Shield Azure with a base wavy of Argent and Vert, in centre St. Anna holding St. Mary baby child, both Or and nimbed Or, flanked by two typical tiny rural houses Proper of Madeira. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters    "FREGUESIA DE SANTANA".
