Description of the flag

A new flag was adopted in 2016 as a banner of arms. It depicts a cannon and two piles of cannonballs on a red over green field, divided 2:1.

This new flag is a banner of arms. Approved on April 27, 2016, by Resolution No. 400 of the Bryansk City Council of People's Deputies. The flag is registered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation under No. 10001

This flag was approved by Resolution of the Bryansk City Council of People's Deputies No. 217 of September 11, 1998. There is no record of its registration in the Heraldic Council of the President of the Russian Federation.
