According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Pattani province is horizontally divided yellow over light green with the provincial emblem, Phraya Tani cannon, in the center and the name of the province beneath it. The provincial flag can be seen on the provincial website with a different representation of the cannon and without the provincial name: http://poc.pattani.go.th/html/d_57_61_1_120_19/

The provincial website provided an update where the Phraya Thai cannon is placed on a pedistal and the name of the province was removed. However, the color arrangement has not changed.
