Flag

The flag appears to display a black and white map of the Seward Peninsula showing the location of Nome by a black star, the name in large letters, images of several local species and the slogan below.

I don't think this is an official town flag. It comes from the Convention and Visitors Bureau and says "Convention and Visitors Bureau."
