Although this flag has been circulating on the web for some time, it appears to be a fabrication. There is no Serra do Brejo or Serra Azul in Alagoas State.

A large yellow star on a blue field and across the bottom six narrow stripes, two white, two yellow and two green.

Serra Azul is a Brazilian municipality located in Alagoas State. The municipality is known as Serra do Brejo (The Marsh's Mountain) and nation-wide famous for its economical and commercial responsibilities. The flag of the municipality was planned since 2007 but appeared only on 14 February 2010.

The "flag" is also shown on the website of the "local" newspaper, "Diário Serrazuense", also "established" in 2010.
