The Website of the Belarussian Ministry of Defense has an image of the banner, located at <www.mod.mil.by>. The close up of the badge can be seen at <www.mod.mil.by/5.jpg>.

This strictly follows the design of the Soviet Air Force flag. The coincidence with the Ukrainian national colors is just that - a coincidence.

Aircraft Marking and Fin Flash

image by Zachary Harden, 8 August 2019

Before 2012, according to Military Aircraft Insignia of the World [cos98] and <www.skytamer.com, the VVS kept the former Soviet insignia.
Dov Gutterman, 12 June 2004

The national flag is used as the fin flash. However, there is not a standard pattern used for the flash; there is a waving flag and also a slanted flag.

Proposed Aircraft Marking

image located by Siôn T. Jobbins, 12 July 2017

It seems the Belarusian air force roundel was adapted in 2012: http://kyuzoaoi.deviantart.com/art/New-Belarus-Roundel-276989196: "Some in the Belarusian Air Force suggested that they change the roundel of their air force after Russia modified its own red star roundel. After deliberations, this was approved in 2012."
Siôn T. Jobbins, 12 July 2017

I could not find anything official and this seems to be a private idea; such a change of emblem was not even discussed.
