The Standard for a Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force charged with the Badge of the 407 Long Range Patrol Squadron (Argent a trident Gules winged Or points in base breaking in two an anchor Sable, all within the Badge Frame for Flying Squadrons, its scroll inscribed TO HOLD ON HIGH) flanked by scrolls Argent inscribed in letters Sable, those to the dexter with ATLANTIC, 1943 - 1945 / ATLANTIQUE, 1943 - 1945; FORTRESS EUROPE, 1942 / FORTERESSE DE L’EUROPE, 1942; GERMAN PORTS, 1942 / PORTS ALLEMANDS, 1942; those to the sinister with ENGLISH CHANNEL AND NORTH SEA, 1941-1945 / MANCHE ET MER DU NORD, 1941-1945; BISCAY, 1942-1945 / GOLFE DE GASCOGNE, 1942-1945; NORMANDY, 1944 / NORMANDIE, 1944; and a like scroll in base inscribed ARABIAN SEA / MER D’ARABIE;

The Badge identifies the unit. The scrolls display the battle honours awarded to the unit.
