Description of the flag

Flag is the municipal logo on white.
Dave Fowler, 30 January 2022

The emblem, a migratory bird, represents freedom and nature.
The head, wings and tail are oriented towards the four cardinal points and represent the opening to the world and the return to the roots.
The bird in flight highlights the dynamism of a municipality looking to the future and prosperity.
The shape of its body follows the shape of the river and Lake St-Pierre as seen as the crow flies.

The signature uses a modern typography symbolizing the collective by its rounded shapes.

Green: Sustainable development, environmentally friendly practices.
Blue: River and Lake St-Pierre, water needed for agriculture
Gold: Quality of agricultural land
Black: Sober and elegant
