Flag: Conposed of three colors, green, white and pink. The green in the form of a triangle at the hoist with its point on the division in half of the upper white and lower pink parts. The green means hope and wealth, the white peace of our region and the pink civismo(?) and progress.
Shield: divided in three parts, the upper part contains an anvil on a green field meaning work and effort. The lower part is divided in two, on the [hearldic] right a head of a zebu cow on a white field symbolizing the wealth of cattle and on the [heraldic] left side a banana tree on a pink field representing the agriculture of the municipality. Below is a golden ribbon with the words "Trabajo-Divisas-Riqueza".
