The P.P. - Partido Popular (= People’s Party) is one of the smaller parties.

In the 2016 local elections, it only run in two of the 22 municipalities: Praia (0.3% of the voters’ preference), and São Miguel (2.2%). So, not really popular…

About the flag

Its flag is a ~1:2 vertical tricolor of green, white, and blue, with the party logo and initials on the white panel: The lettering "PP", dot-less, are set in bold condensed sans serif black capitals, above a logo showing a handshake of two hands of medium light complexion with white shirt and black jacket cuffs.

Variant design

A slightly different rendering at the official electoral results website: The full name of the party (Partido Popular de Cabo Verde) added at the bottom, a raised and smaller "PP", and the cuffs cut at the boundary line of the lateral panels: no white gap around the logo.
