Mainaschaff Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a pall reversed wavy Argent, in base Azure, at dexter barry of six of Or and Gules, at sinister Gules a demi-wheel Argent couped per pale.
Meaning:
The pall wavy is representing the rivers Main and Aschaff and is thus canting. The dexter quarter displays the arms of the Counts of Rieneck, who owned parts of the current municipality. The demi-wheel is a differentiation of the arms of the Archbishopric of Mainz, to which the whole region belonged until 1803. The blue base displays one of the tinctures of Bayern.
