Kirchweidach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure a Latin cross Or issuant from a horseshoe reversed of the same, at sinister Argent a willow Vert trunked Sable.
Meaning:
The willow is canting. The village was mentioned as a settlement with six farms as Uuidaha in 790.The horseshoe is an attribute of St. Leonard, who is honoured in the village by a special adoration, the "ride of St. Leonard", since 1714, when the village was tormented by plague and famine. The cross is representing the local parish church as cultural centre and thus another canting element.
