It is a blue white vertical bicolour with a white bannerhead. The coat of arms is in the centre of the bannerhead.

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a silver(=white) eagle armed golden(=yellow).
According to source these are the traditional arms of the counts of Arnsberg since 12th century.
