Mickhausen Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a stag salient Or, in base three balls Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The stag is taken from the Stolzhirsch (= proud stag) family from Augsburg, manorial lords in the 13th and 14th century. The balls are alluding to the Lords of Freiberg, manorial lords from the 14th until the 16th century. The tinctures blue and gold are those of the Counts of Fugger, local rulers since 1528. The Lordship of Mickhausen formed an own branch of the kin.
