Adelsdorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules a key Argent in bend sinister, at sinister Or a beaver rampant Sable tongued Gules with tail Argent, base Azure a carp Argent.
Meaning:
The key is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Schlüsselberg, who owned the Adelsdorf Estate until 1347. The beaver displays the arms of the Lords of Bibra, who acquired the village in 1696 and kept it until the beginning of the 19th century. The fish is referring to local carp breeding.
