Spardorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a cross pall (German: Deichselkreuz) Sable, at sinister Gules an attire Argent with fleur-de-lis of the same on its tip in sinister chief point, on heart point over all a roof tile parted per pale of Sable and Argent.
Meaning:
The Y-shaped cross is taken from the arms of the Lords of Spardorf, who had been first mentioned in 1321. The attire with fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Strobel kin, who had been local manorial lords in the 14th century. The tile is alluding to the local production of roof tiles since 1718. The tinctures red and white are the Franconian colours while white and black are those of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth from the Zollern kin.
