Vestenbergsgreuth Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Vert a fess Argent, beneath Or a sabot Sable lined Gules
Meaning:
The upper half displays the family arms of the Lords of Vestenberg, who owned Vestenbergsgreuth estate and the surrounding hamlets until 1687. After Christoph Siegmund of Holzschuher had arrived in the village in 1756, there had been an economical and cultural boost. The family also had the privileges of the high and low level cognisance in the village. The canting sabot (German: Holzschuh) is taken from their family arms.

The arms were approved on 25 August 1979 by Minister of Interior of Bayern. The banner probably has never been approved officially.
