Raschau-Markersbach Flag

It is a white flag with a green vertical stripe alongside the hoist and the arms of Raschau in the white field shifted to the fly. The flag is unofficial and actually an invention of the DGF, as the annual meeting in 2018 took place in Langenberg, which belongs to Raschau-Markersbach.

Raschau Coat of Arms

Shield Gules on top of a triplemount issuant Vert a horse forcene Argent.
Meaning:
The origin of the arms is unknown. It is assumed that the horse either is stressing the character of a village of farmers. Other say the name of the municipality is derived from horse meadow (German: Ross-Aue). The triplemount probably is alluding to the location in the Erzgebirge.
