Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The silver (= white) shield is divided by a black, centred cross, divided by white cross hairs. The centre of the cross is superimposed by a red inescutcheon showing two golden (= yellow) keys, crossed saltirishly.
According to source the cross is taken from the arms of the Archbishopric and Electorate of Köln while the keys are symbolizing St.Peter, the patron saint of Köln. The current arms are known since the 17th century.
