It is a red-white-red vertical triband with ratio of stripes approx. 1:4:1. The coat of arms is shifted to the top within the central stripe.

Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Argent a barrulet Sable, issuant from barrulet an upper demi-wheel Gules with its wheel boss charged with an heraldic rose Azure, seeded and barbed Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are combining the elements of the (proposed) arms of the two former municipalities: the rose for both, the demi-wheel for Ober-Wöllstadt and the horseshoe for Nieder-Wöllstadt.
The arms were approved on 15 February 1983.
