Ammerndorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or a bend chequered of Argent and Gules, at sinister Gules a millwheel Or.
The Cistercian bend at dexter is alluding to Heilsbronn Abbey to which the town belonged since 1249. The abbey was the manorial lord until 1791. The millwheel is representing the historical watermill, located on the bank of the Biebert, a little river.
