Pleidelsheim Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield are two black, rounded double-hooks crossed per saltire, also denoted as a rounded swastika.
According to source the hook is an initial "B" due to the former name of the municipality: Bleidelsheim. Its existence was first proven on boundary stones in 1686, later on also on seals and coloured plates: golden in a red field. In 1937 the municipality doubled the hook. Then it was also denoted as wolf trap or sun symbol. The municipality fixed the current colours in the same year.
